It’s always sad when it gets to be the end of December, but shopping for fun New Year’s Eve dresses sure takes the sting out! When I was looking for a pretty party dress to wear on New Year’s Eve, I was so surprised at how many gorgeous options there were! Alongside sharing the dress I’ll be wearing, I wanted to highlight a few of the best ones that I found!

The Glam New Year’s Eve Dresses I’m Loving

I won’t be ringing in the New Year with any champagne this year, but I’ll still take any excuse to get dressed up! You can bet I’ll be wearing a festive dress, even if we stay home! I think red {like the dress I’m wearing!} works for Christmas parties and still feels appropriate on New Year’s Eve, but if I wasn’t pregnant, this pretty silky cutout dress would be too chic to resist! I like that the dress is from Shopbop, because they offer fast (1-3 days!) free shipping and returns for Amazon Prime members. How great is that?!

If you get nervous about buying clothes online, start with a retailer like Shopbop or Nordstrom who also offers free returns and shipping. I included a bunch of dresses from both of those retailers, as well as your staple mall brands like H&M, in the shopping boutique below so that way you can easily and quickly order a dress for New Year’s Eve {or any holiday parties!} or pop by the mall to pick one up!

When it comes to New Year’s Eve dresses, I feel like you can pick even more glamorous styles than you would for a normal party. Sequins, satin, and feathers, are all fair game! Silver and gold are timeless options for New Year’s Eve parties, but I love really rich jewel tones too. I mean, how often do you get to wear an emerald green, bandeau cut {this dress is only $60!}?! Of course, I also am a sucker for florals any time of year, so I love this stunning dress as well!

Do you dress up for New Year’s Eve?! I know some people find New Year’s Eve overrated, but I’ll take any excuse to celebrate with friends and family!

P.S. I rounded up even more fun holiday dresses here that could work for New Year’s Eve parties too!
