By popular request after my Trader Joe’s staples post, I’m sharing our favorite Trader Joe’s holiday items. The holidays are always such a special and exciting time and I feel like Trader Joe’s just add to it because they have such an incredible seasonal selection. I seriously could go crazy in there over the holidays because I want to try EVERYTHING! Below are some of our favorite items to get around the holidays, as well as some new ones we were excited to try out! Anyone else try any recent favorites? Please leave a comment letting me know what we should pick up next! I have a feeling a Trader Joe’s run is in our very near future…
My Favorite Trader Joe’s Holiday Goodies
Sweet
Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough – we love getting this cookie dough over the holidays. It’s in the refrigerated section, but you can freeze it too. I love how crispy on the edges they get. And if you want to top it with some raw sugar before baking, you won’t be sorry!
Authentic Danish Kringle- this was a new one for us and oh my gosh it is AMAZING! It’s this light flaky pastry that is filled with an almond filling. It’s also beautifully shaped into an oval, making it a fun brunch item to serve. We will definitley be getting this one again and again! By the way, it’s on the table with the carrot cake loaves and pies.
Dark Chocolate Covered Caramels- A dangerous sweet to have around! I love chocolate covered caramels, and while See’s makes my favorites, these are pretty good too!
Just the Clusters Maple Pecan Granola Cereal- Be warned: if you get this cereal you might finish it in less than 2 days. Whenever we get it, I crave it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and every snack in between. It is SWEET but so good if you’re a maple pecan fan! I think they have this one year-round because it’s just that good!
Peppermint Pretzel Slims– Such a yummy peppermint snack!
Ginger Bread Spice Granola– I’m always looking to try new granolas and this seasonal one was interesting to me. It’s definitely heavy on the ginger so if you’re not a huge fan of ginger, maybe hold off. It’s nice and crunchy though!
Dark Chocolate Mint Stars- We always get these! I love the shortbread cookies with the chocolate and mint. They’re also pretty addictive so just watch out if you start snacking!
Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s – These peppermint “Oreo” cookies are so so good!
Gingerbread Coffee – Doesn’t that sound so cozy?? I love the way our house smells when we brew a cup.
Dutch Stroopwaffels- I had my first Stroopwaffel on our flight back from Colorado this fall and I LOVED it! I’ll be picking up a few of these cans of cookies this holiday season.
Savory
Spiced Cider- This is a great spiced cider! We’ve used this in Mulled Wine recipes, cocktails, and on it’s own! I would highly recommend it!
Creamy Toscano Cheese Dusted with Cinnamon– This cheese is so yummy because of the hint of cinnamon. We love it with sliced pears or crackers!
Beecher’s Cheese Quad– I was so excited to see this set at Trader Joe’s. There are four little wedges of Beecher’s Cheese, and if you’re not familiar, Beecher’s is a cheese company based in Seattle with a location in NYC too. Their cheese is handmade in these two locations. This quad included the Flagship Cheese, Dutch Hollow, Marco Polo {has green and black peppercorns}, and New Woman {amazing with chili because of the Jamaican Jerk spices}. This would be a great set to give as a hostess gift if you need any other ideas!
Marcona Almonds-This is a year-round item but it shines during the holidays. I think it’s always a must-have on a cheeseboard. By the way, here are some of my favorite cheeses!
Black Truffle Butter– Can you imagine anything better to add to bread, eggs, popcorn, or veggies? Me neither! Truffle butter is a bit indulgent, but it’s the holidays!
Double Crème Brie with Truffles- Speaking of truffles, I picked up this special cheese for our upcoming holiday party. Of course I had to taste test it first!
SHOP CHIC ENTERTAINING PIECES
I’ve shared my favorite Trader Joe’s foods that you can get year-round before, but I couldn’t resist sharing holiday goodies too! If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you, I also shared my general grocery staples that you can find at most stores! I’m curious…do you like seeing posts like this about our household staples? What else are you curious about? I’m planning a lot of fun new content for the New Year and I’d love to know what you’d like to see! Thank you so much in advance!!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
