Augustine has a new favorite word and it’s “BRR!” And brrrrr is right! It has been coooold in Orange County this week! We’ve had crazy intense wind and rain, and the temperature has dropped a lot lower than we are used to. It even rained on Christmas which rarely happens! I don’t mind the cold weather too much when I’m prepared, which is why I’ve been relying on winter coats to keep me warm and toasty! There are some years where coats aren’t totally necessary, but not this year! This one I’m wearing is under $200 and there are a bunch of other cute ones below I think you’ll like too!
By the way, this scarf is AMAZING! One of my favorite recent buys for sure. I actually have it in the pink color too!! It’s incredibly soft and cozy and I think the thickness is perfect.
As I mentioned it’s been pretty darn cold lately. It’s been a good excuse to bust out Augustine’s adorable winter wardrobe that he hadn’t had a chance to wear yet. I was worried he’d grow out of it before it ever got cold here lol! How cute is his little puffy coat?!
For my coats, I really like to lean into winter fabrics like plaid and shades like camel. I actually have a camel coat that I am obsessed with and have been wearing all fall and winter! This faux fur one was also something I wore a lot during the festive holiday season.
I know winter coats can be super expensive, so I wanted to round up a bunch of options under $200 {many are under $100}. There are so many great sales going on at my favorite stores like Nordstrom, Loft, Ann Taylor, Old Navy, Abercrombie, and Anthropologie, that it was easy to find some really nice styles at a discount!
