I am so happy that today is finally the first day of spring! I thought to celebrate we could talk about one of my favorite parts of spring…spring style! Everyone likes a little wardrobe refresh when the weather gets warmer and these five pieces are the perfect ones to transition with!
5 Pieces to Transition into Spring Style With
Oversized cardigans are one of my favorite transitional pieces in the fall as well as the spring. You’ll notice me wearing them a lot over lacy camisoles and sundresses. Really, they can be worn over anything and you can easily take it off if you get too warm. This mustard cardigan is the perfect in-between seasons color!
Another great outerwear option for you! Spring time means chilly mornings and nights so having a lightweight jacket to add to the spring wardrobe is essential. Denim jackets are a great, edgy edition to any look and a great replacement to those cozy faux fur jackets you’ve been wearing all winter. Denim jackets are timeless and are the perfect cover up for any spring outfit. I already have a classic blue jean jacket, but I really want a white one this season. Love that this white jean jacket is over 70% off and available in all sizes!
A flowy, midi layer dress is a pretty perfect early spring dress. A little extra coverage helps with warmth after all. Spring time also means flowers, so wearing a floral print is one of the best way to embrace brighter and lighter prints. It’s time to put away the darker winter colors! I like pairing spring midi dresses with chic strappy sandal or a classic white tennis shoe for more of a casual look!
No need to pack up all your knit sweaters just yet, instead, pair them with these loose fitted, cropped boyfriend jeans! The light wash, distressed denim style is perfect for balmy spring days. I really like this vintage inspired pair! The relaxed feel and look can be dressed up with a breezy blouse or dressed down with a crisp t-shirt.
Pack up the boots, because its mules season now! These shoes are so easy to style and compliment any look. They’s a good transition piece since they are essentially half bootie and half sandal! Try heeled ones for a dressier look, or a simple slip-on pair for busy days on-the-go!
What spring trends will you be embracing until the weather gets warmer? I like to save my spring style inspiration here, but you can also expect to see a lot more on the blog soon! What type of style posts would you like to see this season?
