My smooth essentials for beauty! - M Loves M

I’ll take all the smooth hair and skin please! Seriously though, I am ready for some major beauty pampering. We aren’t taking any big trips this summer, so I think I will treat myself to some at home spa days! Summer is fun but comes with a lot of frizz and oily skin that can lead to acne. I am looking for some smooth essentials that will keep my skin and hair looking it’s best all summer long!

July Beauty: Smooth Essentials

Rodin Olio Lusso – Luxury Face Cream

I have always been a fan of this brand’s face oil. It smells divine! It’s a cult favorite for a reason! I’m so glad the brand has expanded to more products and I am optimistic I’ll love this cream as much as their oil. This rich cream is actually infused with oil and is supposed to be great for dry skin!

Kate Somerville Kx Active Concentrates Bio-Mimicking Peptides Serum

I like layering a serum under my moisturizer for an extra dose of moisture and skin-healthy ingredients. This serum is a blend of five peptides that work together to refresh and renew skin. I am anticipating, firming, smoothing, and hydrating benefits. I’ve always had great experiences using this brand, so fingers crossed I see some big results from this serum!

Perricone MD Pre:empt Series Daily Brightening Moisturizer SPF 30

You know that I am always looking for a little extra help erasing hyper-pigmentation! I usually tackle these spots with products at night, but I’m hoping this daytime moisturizer with SPF 30 will help! Sunscreen always helps protect your skin and stops discoloration from worsening. But I like that this moisturizer is specifically designed to brighten skin!

OLEHENRIKSEN Cold Plunge Pore Mask

I’ll be honest…I’m totally trying this product because of the name. I mean we’ve only had hot summer weather for a few weeks now and I am ready to take a cold plunge! This mask sounds so soothing and it is designed to reduce oil production which is a must-have during these hot months.

Kevin Murphy Angel Masque

I am totally going through postpartum hair loss right now. It’s been such a bummer! But I’m hoping this mask can help. It is supposed to promote hair growth and lessen breakage. All of which sounds pretty great to me right now!

June Beauty: Skincare Favorites

Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream

This eye cream is a great consistency and it blends in really well! I’m always a big fan of the Korres products and this one is another keeper!

Biossance Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil

Oh I love this oil so much! It smells amazing, has the perfect lightness but gives my skin a nice glow. I love how easily it absorbs into my skin too, so it’s great to wear before a cream. The bottle is also beautiful so it’s a nice one to leave out on your counter!

Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream

If you love rose, you’ll really like this day cream! It smells amazing! The cream is thick so a little goes a long way and it’s the perfect size for travel! I did wish it had an SPF but I just applied one on top afterwards. Lately I’ve been using this sunscreen!

Glossier Rose Face Mist

I have to say, I prefer this face mist to the others I’ve tried recently. It smells like roses but it’s not as perfumey as you’d think {definitely not as much as the day cream is}. I’ve been leaving this face mist in my bathroom in an easily accessible spot so that whenever I’m in there I can spritz a little bit on. It feels so refreshing, especially as it’s been getting warmer!

PMD Clean Pro Cleansing Device

I was so excited to start using this device! I’ve wanted to switch it up from my Clarisonic and I love that this one is anti-microbial because of the silicone bristles. I feel like it does a great job exfoliating my skin because of the two different intensities. Also, I’m a huge fan of the opposite side which can be used to press in serums. The warming effect is also very relaxing and beneficial. If you’re looking for a device to clean, exfoliate and help apply serums and oils, you have to consider this one!! I’m a big fan!

Do you switch up your beauty routine in the summer? I’ve been wearing brighter lipstick colors, like the pink one I wore in this colorful makeup tutorial! This glossy pink lipstick is such a fun shade for summer! But if you like neutral makeup, a fun nail polish color would work too!
