In this day and age I think it goes without saying that there are no fashion rules. We can wear what we want, when we want. And I can’t speak for other locals, but SoCal girls love wearing white jeans all year round. Of course we wear them more in the summer, but white pants deserve to be worn any time of the year. They are so chic and such an easy and comfortable style. When I ordered these white pants, I realized I wanted to share how I wear white after Labor Day with you!

This is my first pair of Everlane jeans and I have to say they did not disappoint! It’s been awhile since I ordered anything from them {I still have and love this trench!}, but when I was on their site there were SO many cute things I loved for fall. I also got this black bodysuit to go with the jeans and love it! Seeing how they styled white jeans with a black top really inspired this outfit. I feel like this outfit is much more fall appropriate with the black, long sleeves. I also think white jeans look so great when paired with grey, like with this affordable cashmere sweater. Perfect for a SoCal fall!
We’re not ready for boots yet, though, so I paired this look with dressier sandals {flat sandals would feel a bit too summery I think}. But as soon as the temps drop a bit {we are having a major heatwave} I think these ankle boots would look so cute with these jeans. I have been obsessed with them since I included them in this fall style edit. I think the trench coat from that post would also look super cute with white jeans. This trench is now 50% off which is such a good deal. It’s also one of those styles that is ideal for fall as it’s not too warm like a winter coat.
If it is starting to get chilly where you are, you can always add a cozy white hat or scarf to an outfit. If white jeans feel too light for you, a winter white sweater or henley would work with dark jeans or pants! And this mock turtleneck screams fall even though it is white! I think the trick to wearing white during the fall is to be super mindful and to not wear anything too flowy or too light of a fabric. Nothing that looks like it should be worn a warm summer day lol!
