I feel like I probably said this last month, and the month before, but HOW IS IT THE END OF THE MONTH?? May flew by faster than I had imagined, considering we spent our days at home. Even looking for photos for this post, I was thinking, didn’t that just happen? I hope June moves a little slower, to be honest. Summer is almost here and I am just ready to fill this time with fun memories! Here are some highlights from this past month…
Matching with my girl! I’m wearing a dress by Mirth {love their mission!} and Corinna is in a little outfit from Wren Amber Clothing– love that it transitions from a romper to pants as she grows!
Baking Adventures!
I made two Alison Roman recipes from her Dining In cookbook I got for Christmas. The first was this Rasberry Honey Yogurt Loaf and the second was the biscuits. Oh my gosh the biscuits! They were truly amazing! Can’t wait to make them again!
I’ve been making a lot of bread since I have my sourdough starter, so I was so happy to try this Sourdough Pizza recipe. The method of cooking in a cast-iron skillet and then transferring to the broiler was genius. You could definitely try this out with store-bought dough too. Although, I honestly didn’t realize how easy it was to make my own pizza dough.
Augustine wanted me to carry him like a little baby kangaroo (a joey!) and it melted my heart! Love this sweet boy!
Corinna is always grabbing at Augustine but also giving him LOTS of hugs!! She loves her big brother so much!
Corinna also loves Augustine’s favorite stuffed animal dog, Brownie! We actually got her a similar Labrador version {Brownie is a Saint Bernard}, but she still prefers Browns!
Corinna already loves shoes! Here she is trying on my Sarah Flint loafers – another favorite style right now!
First dinner outside! That’s when it really starts to feel like summer!
Got these cute sunnies for Corinna but she’ll have to wait to grow into them!
loving blues and whites right now! Got these cute mules from one of my favorite shoe brands Margaux. They collaborated with one of my blogger friends Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam and the whole collection is perfect!
Celebrated Ginger’s 10 year adoption anniversary! Remember when I got her?? {btw dress runs big so I’d size down. It’s so cute with a leather jacket}
Matthew had to pick up some 25lb bread flour bags for me!
Days at home are that much brighter with these smiles!!
First swim with C!
At home happy hours with rose and bread and butter! Something to look forward to!
Such a fun month but I have to say I’m really excited for June, especially now that things are opening up a bit in Orange County. Hoping things are looking a little better where you are too!
I hope you have a really nice weekend and enjoy a little sunshine! Let me know what you’re up to. I need some ideas!
