I love feeling the sunshine on my face, but with sunscreen and plenty of moisturizer on of course! I am switching up my skincare products as summer is approaching and the weather is getting quite hot. Is it getting warmer for you, too? I want products that are refreshing, hydrating, and that are beneficial in blocking the sun and protecting my hair and skin. Here are some skincare products that are perfect for hydrating and refreshing skin during these toasty summer days. I can’t wait to try them!
June Beauty: Refreshing and Hydrating Skincare
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser:
The summers get pretty hot here in SoCal so I notice that my skin tends to be a little more on the oily side throughout the day. I am very interested in trying out this Sunday Riley cleanser to really cleanse and refresh my skin after a long day in the sun. French green clay is one of the primary ingredients and it is supposed to be great for pulling out dirt, oil, makeup, and pollution from your pores. This cleanser is supposed to be very gentle and not leave your skin stripped and feeling dry after. I tend to like products that are gentle on my skin and that don’t cause any irritation, so I am very hopeful about this product!
FARMACY Deep Sweep 2% BHA Pore Cleaning Toner with Moringa + Papaya
I really like using a toner in my skincare routine so I am always up to try new ones! This toner is alcohol-free which is something I look for in a toner so my skin doesn’t dry out. There is also 2% BHA which is great for preventing blemishes and reducing acne, along with papaya enzymes to gently exfoliate and clarify. This toner is also verified clean at Sephora and has really great reviews! The toner nearly has a perfect five stars and customers rave about the way their skin feels after using this! Can’t wait to try!
Do you guys use face oil? I always love face oils and this one looks really great, so I wanted to give it a try. I actually met the owner for a few years ago and she was so lovely and had the most flawless skin! This facial oil is full of nourishing ingredients like chia, pumpkin, and pomegranate. It is designed to treat redness, irritation, loss of skin elasticity, dry, and sensitive skin types. Sounds amazing to me! There are 21 different seed oils that help with signs of aging and leave your face feeling hydrated without feeling overly oily. This oil can also be used day or night and is great for all skin types.
First Aid Beauty Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30
I am a big believer in wearing sunscreen each and every day! I find that a zinc-based formula provides the greatest protection for my face. First Aid Beauty has really nice beauty products and they are always so gentle on my skin, so I am so happy to find they have sunscreen. The formula is very lightweight and protects not only from the sun but also from environmental aggressors such as pollution. This sunscreen is also oil-free, so you do not need to worry about clogging your pores, and it’s sheer so you can wear it under your daily makeup! Seems like it’s perfect for summer!
Unite 7Seconds Condition Leave In Detangler Hairspray
This detangler by Unite looks very promising. It claims that within 7 seconds your hair will be detangled! I am all for that! The 7 seconds detangler is supposed to be very nourishing and moisturize your locks as well. I also use heat styling tools frequently so I am glad this product protects your hair from the sun and heat damage. There are also very high ratings and reviews for this product and customers share that it really makes a difference in brushing through their hair. I think I will incorporate this into my hair routine and could even be great to quickly spray in your hair after being in the pool or ocean.
May Beauty: Soft, Smooth, and Clean
Philosophy Time In A Bottle 100% In-Control Facial Serum
This has been a really nice serum and I love that they include an additional ingredient to mix in upon opening. This facial serum is aimed at repairing skin damage so I think it’s been great to be incorporating during these warmer months.
Peter Thomas Roth Instant FIRMx Eye™
A great eye serum if you’re looking to smooth out fine lines, crows feet, and under eye puffiness. There are a ton of reviews about this eye serum and I love looking at the before and after photos. My eyes definitely lost all the puffiness which I so appreciated! If you experience puffy under eyes, definitely try this one out!
Bliss That’s Incredi-Peel Pads
These peel pads are definitely spa-quality, they release glycolic acid which targets fine lines, discoloration, and skin imperfections. They also are vegan, and do not contain any parabens, sulfates, petroleum, or mineral oil. I used these consistently for half of the month (until I ran out) and loved how much smoother my skin felt, plus it looked way clearer. I’ve actually been thinking I need to order another pack of these because they’re just a great treatment to use at home!
SHISEIDO Essential Energy Moisturizing Cream
This is such a hydrating moisturizer and is great for all skin types. It also targets fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity. If you are looking to brighten and hydrate your skin this is a great go-to. The only thing, was that I had to follow up with an SPF but now that I have that FAB one I think I’ll be good to go!
Rael Himalayan Pink Salt Toothpaste
I was really curious about this toothpaste but I have to say I was happily surprised by it! This toothpaste is formulated with over 80 minerals that contain anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties! Toothpastes can contain really harsh chemicals that can be absorbed through your bloodstream so I was happy to know this product was made with clean ingredients. The taste is actually really good and it will be one I rebuy for sure!! It’s so hard to find good, natural kinds of toothpaste.
MicrodermaMitt Deep Exfoliating Face Mitt
This exfoliating mitt is great for unclogging pores, sun damage, and improving your skin’s texture! It such an easy step to throw into your skincare routine or even leave in the shower to use! Love that the mitt helps stimulate blood flow and collagen production too!
What are your favorite hydrating and refreshing skincare products? I always love to find new skincare products!
