Valentine’s Day Gift Guide: For Her

If I’m being completely honest with you, I feel like Valentine’s Day is usually wasted on men. They just don’t have as much fun with it as us ladies do! It makes sense. Flowers, lace, candles, PINK, it’s a pretty girly holiday. Which is why I like to celebrate my favorite ladies on Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day {the best holiday ever on February 13th!}I really wanted to do a little party this year, but with the baby coming so soon, I figured it was best not to plan anything lol! But, I still had time though to pick out some really cute Galentine’s Day gifts for my best gal pals!

I love the idea of gifting these very kissable beauty products! A lip scrub and lip gloss just feels so appropriate for this holiday. So do these adorable conversation heart bath bombs.

I already rounded up some of my favorite Valentine’s Day themed pajamas here, but I love that this pair really could be worn all year round and is just so feminine. I’ve had these Comme des Garçons Converse on my wishlist for years and think they are cute for everyday wear, but especially for Valentine’s Day!

I’m sure a pretty set of mugs or a fun book would also be appreciated! And how cute would it be to send these cookies to a girlfriend who lives far away?!

Decorating for Valentine’s Day

easy ways to decorate for Valentine's Day - M Loves M @marmar

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays! For obvious reasons – it’s all about romance, chocolate, flowers, and all the red and pink! I always look forward to decorating for Valentine’s Day and even though we just do simple touches throughout the house, it does make a big difference. After the Christmas and New Years holidays, our house tends to look a little bare, so sprucing it up for VDay makes me happy! Plus it gives me a fun project for dreary Januarys, when I’m feeling the winter blues. Today I’m sharing some of the ways we’re decorating for Valentine’s Day!

P.S. I’m re-sharing my Valentine’s Day decor from last year because I saved so many of these adorable decorations to use again!

This is the first year that I’ll be able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my little girl, even if she is still in my belly! Because I’m planning to do a few special things for both our children {can’t believe we’ll have two soon!}, I wanted to share two gift guides. One for little girls and one for little boys. But really, aside from a few clothing options, most of these gifts can work for either! Let’s face it, there were just too many cute styles to choose from, so I had to make two gift guides. I mean, I just shared my favorite girly bows, shoes, and outfits, but there are so many adorable options out there. Target and Old Navy both had the sweetest Valentine’s Day gift options for kids at affordable prices. Augustine LOVES his wagon, so I thought if your tot didn’t already have one, it would be a fun surprise for Valentine’s Day. Especially if it had some toys {like this cuddly elephant!} or treats inside.

Of course, Augustine is the one who will really be able to enjoy Valentine’s Day this year. He had so much fun helping me decorate and bake for Christmas, that I know he’ll enjoy this holiday too. One of my sweet readers {hi Sandra!} sent him this Happy Valentine’s Day, Mouse book last year and it’s still one of his favorites. I’m thinking I’ll probably grab him this V-Day themed book this year, too! He loves trucks, so similar to the wagon idea, I thought I could put a few little fun Valentine card making goodies in the back of this truck for him to play with. He’s been obsessed with playing with my planner stickers lately, so I think he will love to decorate cards with stickers too. I also thought I would throw up a few cute decorations like these balloons or this heart banner to make it feel really festive for him!
