This skirt {part of the matching set I wore last week!} is already coming in handy! I paired it with a pink sweater top and some fun sandals for an afternoon in Manhattan Beach. I love heels but sometimes a girl just has to be comfy! These flats have a pretty suede tie detail and I love the criss-cross ankle straps! Also, a touch of metallic is always a good thing!

This weekend was so fun! I celebrated one of my best friend’s birthdays in Las Vegas. I’m not usually into Vegas trips {for many reasons} but I loved the idea of celebrating one of my favorite girls with pool time, good restaurants, and some shopping! The weather was kind of weird because it rained off and on {with thunderstorms and lightening too!} but the clouds were a nice buffer from the sun. It was still hot but not totally unbearable. The one thing I’ll be catching up on this week is lots of sleep, though!
