I feel lucky to try a lot of different beauty and skincare products and I couldn’t say goodbye to 2016 without recognizing some of my absolute favorites. If you’re interested in some beauty and skincare products I genuinely love and want to know why they’re so amazing, this post is for you! Here are my Top 10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2016:

Top 10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2016

I actually wanted to do a post like this months ago because of this Korres Black Pine Active Firming Sleeping Oil in particular. I’ve talked about my love for Korres in the past {it’s one of my favorite skincare brands}, and this oil was one of those products I immediately fell in love with. You know a product is good when you bring it to your mom’s house so she can try it. AND I made Matthew use it several times. {He loved it by the way!} This oil is light, absorbs quickly, and it smells so incredibly good. My skin always looks a lot healthier and more radiant in the mornings after using this. Big bonus for Korres is that their products are free of sulfates and parabens.

I got this T3 Whirl Trio last year and haven’t looked back! It has tourmaline and ceramic barrels so it’s a lot less damaging to your hair, so even though it’s more pricy, I think it’s totally worth it. I use the 1.5″ straight barrel the most for my full-bodied waves, but I love the 1.25″ tapered barrel for messier, beach waves, and the 1″ for more defined curls. The first thing I noticed {and loved!} about this product is that my curls lasted multiple days, especially with the 1″ and 1.25″ wands! I’ve never had that happen with a curling iron before. The next day they’ll be a little looser but still look really pretty. If you can get your hands on one to try, I know you’ll love it!

I feel like last year was my year of oils. I got so into them! Even essential oils, but that’s a post for another day. This Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil became a must-have step in my nightly skincare routine. The oil emulsifies with water into a cleansing milk and removes makeup without drying out the face. I love smelling the lavender at night too. It’s so calming before bedtime.

The Murad Pore Reform Skin Smoothing Polish is another great product that I really enjoyed using last year. It’s a gentle yet effective exfoliator. I try to use it weekly to help prevent breakouts and keep my skin clear.

The Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask is a must-try! It seriously makes my face glow! Probably because of all the citrus fruits included. I noticed a difference in my complexion after just one use too!

Lancôme is one of my favorite beauty brands and I love their Le Crayon Poudre Eyebrow Powder Pencil. The powder consistency makes it easier to create a more natural brow look, and it’s not as oily as some other pencils. Having the spoolie brush on the other end is super handy too!

I’ve been looking for a good leave-in heat protectant for the longest time so I was really happy with this Kérastase Nectar Thermique. This leave-in treatment is especially great for dry hair so when I found it at the end of the summer, it was really put to the test! I love that it protects my hair from heat products, but also gives it smoothness and shine.

If you want to add a little shimmer to your face, you have to try the Jouer Highlighter. It’s small but mighty! I only need a few taps and it makes such a difference. Apply down the bridge of your nose and at the tops of your cheekbones for the prettiest illumination. The consistency is nice and creamy and mixes well on top of foundation.

Another skincare fave is Kate Somerville. If you’re in LA, you need to get a facial at their clinic. Life changing! When I’m between appointments, I love their ‘Clinic-to-Go’ Resurfacing Peel Pads. They have professional strength for at home use. I always love how my skin feels after using these pads- soft and totally rejuvenated!

The lipstick I wore non-stop last year was this Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa. It’s the prettiest pink color and is so flattering! I wore this shade for our maternity photos, but also several outfit posts {here and here!}.

Well, there you have it! My Top 10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2016! Have you tried any of them? Or do you have a favorite you’d like to share? Leave a comment below! I’m always looking to try new products!
