I know you all have seen little bits of our bedroom over the past few months but the room is finally done! Until we end up painting, and replacing the carpet, and then maybe deciding to redecorate, that is! haha! I love designing a room but the process from start to finish can take so long sometimes! There were a few big things we did with this room over the past few months though that makes it feel much more complete. I love the light colors, the pretty florals, and the textured details that make this room feel so cozy and very inviting after a long day. I’m sharing our Bedroom Decor Reveal photos below, along with all the details if you’re inspired to do something similar!

I have been so in love with all the pillows from Caitlin Wilson and thought this print would look beautiful. I also love the contrast with the striped lumbar.

One of the big things we did with this room was replace the blinds with shades. We picked out these Ivory Linen Roman Shades from The Shade Store and I loved how they turned out. At first, I was thinking about doing an oatmeal color, but I think the ivory linen is so classic and will be most versatile, especially once we paint. By the way, if any of you are looking into The Shade Store, I would highly recommend them and the whole experience. For the longest time, I was considering buying roman shades from a regular store but the measurements kept tripping me up. I wanted the shades to fit right into the window and I didn’t want to be off at all. They actually send someone out to get all the exact measurements and then they installed it which made things so easy and worth it! The hardest part was just picking the material, and waiting for it to be installed. Had to share in case any of you are dealing with a similar measuring headache like I was!

You may have noticed in the photos above that we have a reading nook in our bedroom! I love curling up there with a good book, especially now that it’s fall! I like to read stories with Augustine in this spot too! He’s been loving these fall themed children’s books lately.
