Do you wear dresses in the winter? We have such mild weather here that I always do! What I love about flowy dresses (like the one I’m wearing) is that you can totally layer tights or long underwear (this brand has super thin but warm undergarments) underneath for added warmth.

I know how frustrating it can be to try to dress for girl’s night out or a wedding in winter. You want to look cute, but don’t want to freeze! Thick and luxurious fabrics like velvet are the perfect solution for dressing up during the winter. Remember when I wore it a ton this fall?! This velvet maxi dress is covered up and warm, but sooo glamorous.

For extra warmth, a classic leather or suede jacket would pair perfectly with a floral maxi dress. A high pair of boots would also help keep your legs warm!

As much as I love winter style and all the great accessories you can wear, I might be starting to get ready for spring! I’m starting to see a lot of floral prints, straw totes, and gingham when I go shopping, and I’m not mad about it! Are you all in the spring mode yet?
