Cute beach coverups for summer days! - M Loves M

As you can tell by the theme of this week’s content…I am ready for some fun in the sun! We live so close to the beach, but it’s been too gloomy to go for a dip just yet. I’m being patient though and know we are only a few weeks away from some sunny weather. Which gives me plenty of time to find the perfect swimsuit coverups!

My Favorite Swimsuit Coverups

As I mentioned earlier this week, you can totally throw a pair of shorts and a tank top over a swimsuit. But if you’re looking to up the glam factor, there are some really pretty swimsuit coverups to choose from! I think for a day by the pool with your girlfriends, a cover up is just so pretty! Or when you’re on vacation and want to have lunch {or a drink or two lol!} a cover up can almost look like a dress. This cute ruffled striped coverup really looks like a dress! So does this green maxi dress style coverup.

The coverup I’m wearing is pretty similar to a dress at first glance. I have been tricked before into almost buying dresses that are actually coverups lol! I chose a long one, because our mornings at the beach can be kind of overcast, and that’s when I prefer to take Augustine. We only go to the beach before noon or after 2 pm to avoid getting too much sun! I get asked a lot about what sunscreen I use for Augustine, and the one by Babyganics is my favorite! I trust the ingredients and it works really well.

A sarong is also a really fun option for tropical vacations. I love this topical printed sarong. Kimono style coverups can also look really glamorous and provide some nice sun protection! This blue kimono is sooo pretty. I also love this pink floral kimono and it’s a steal at $13! And how pretty is this chiffon cover up?! And it’s only $16!

Hats are also a good form of sun protection. I usually pick some up for the kids at Old Navy or Baby Gap. For me, I love a good hat! Right now, this custom monogrammed hat I got from Etsy might be my favorite. But this similar version from Nordstrom is a great option too!

What are your plans this weekend? Are you heading to the beach? Maybe we’ll get some sun and we can go as a family!
