Fall Dinner Party Essentials

If you’ve followed along for a while, you know I LOVE to entertain! Cooking, decorating, hostessing, I love it all! There is nothing better than a cozy fall night filled with friends, food, and of course good wine. I love these five wines for holiday dinner parties btw! Mulled cider is always a good treat too, feel free to spike it or leave it kid friendly. I so appreciate how easy this mulled cider kit is to make. I thought I would share all of my dinner party essentials with you!

For decor, I try to keep things feeling simple and earthy during the fall. I feel like fall is a season of abundance, so why not celebrate that fact with nature inspired pieces? I thought these veggie themed plates were too cute! I try to mix a few fun pieces like those plates in with more basic white styles like this round oven dish. It makes it so easy to mix and match and just swap in a couple of seasonal pieces.

I always like to keep the table well stocked with what our guests need to customize their food to their liking. A chic oil and vinegar bottle is a must! As is a cute pepper and salt dispenser. I love that this version feels extra fancy thanks to it’s bowl and spoon format. For an extra gourmet touch, you could offer this truffle honey to drizzle on cornbreads or homemade pizzas! I always like to pick up fun and unique things like that at Williams Sonoma to try with our friends and family. Can we talk about the fact that they have a whole “truffle shop“?!

I don’t know about you, but I prefer to wear an apron while cooking for dinner parties since I don’t want to risk spilling on my clothes. I think a cute apron is a must! BTW, if you’re looking for recipe inspiration, I keep all my favorite dinner, drinks, and dessert recipes up on the recipe section of the blog. But for really easy fall and holiday entertaining, you have to check out my favorite holiday items from Trader Joe’s! And these are some of my go-to cheeses for a quick appetizer.
