I have so so so been looking forward to having a mom’s night out with my girlfriends! I feel like I haven’t been out for some girl time in way too long and it’s so needed. Sometimes you just want to see your best friends, drink some cocktails, and chat about reality shoes, friends from high school, and other random things. I’m so happy one is finally on the books and of course I’ve been planning the perfect outfit in the meantime!

It’s practically a miracle when I finally have the time {and the energy} for a night out! Sometimes we go so long without a night out that we can totally forget what to even wear lol! But luckily my style best friend is the closet staple most every girl has an abundance of in their closet: black!
Putting together a black outfit is so easy and always looks so classy, which is perfect for busy moms who don’t want to spend too much time getting ready, not to mention it’s stain proof! Start with a pair of classic black jeans, I love these high waisted black jeans from AGOLDE. I’ve been loving their jeans lately and am so glad I finally tried this brand, it is so worth the hype. You could also try a pair of acid wash black jeans to add some texture to the look.
The rest is so easy! Pair your black with your favorite black top {this top has been my go-to lately, see here for proof!} and black jackets; there are so many options you can choose from! Tank top, long sleeve, cardigan, or leather jacket, you really can’t go wrong! It’s great to have a nice clutch that can go with multiple outfits, especially when you’ve been carrying around baby diapers all day, it’s a nice change! Block heeled sandals are a great way to keep the look dressy without putting your feet in pain. Of course, you could make the all black look even simpler with an LBD! What I love most about this mom’s night out look is that it’s pretty fool proof! No need to stress about what to wear!
