Satin and lace and pearls, oh my! I can’t believe February’s already coming to an end. This month for me has been all about lace, satin, silk, pearls – anything romantic and girly, must be that Valentine’s Day spirit! I’m not ready to let go of it quite yet!

A simple lace or silk top is an easy, casual way to dress to this romantic style, and you can find so many different lacy and silky styles that fit to what you like best. I love this silk camisole top from Nordstrom, the deep navy color is so pretty and it’s 100% silk which always feels so luxurious. Nordstrom is a great place to go for these tops because they have a lot of variety of styles at a variety of prices, and they’re great quality of course.

You can really never go wrong with a fuzzy jacket, especially for the transition from winter to spring and to pair with slinky tops or dresses. This white trucker jacket is so cute, looks so cozy, and would look great with a simple pair of jeans or even a nice dress. I love this satin slip dress for a going out or date night outfit. The color, called “toasted caramel” is so pretty and I love the simplicity of the straps. Plus the low back is so flattering. The dress, from Banana Republic, also has amazing reviews!  Dress it up with adorable low-heeled sandals for a classy and chic romantic look!

Ok, now how cute is that pink travel wallet with the furry handle?! I think that this little bag is such a fun, flirty accessory that can add a hint of subtle femininity to your outfit without being over the top. It’s like a more practical version of a clutch. It comes in so many other colors too, but I love this blush color for the romantic and girly style. Pearls are the perfect way to accessorize these romantic outfits!  A simple necklace, statement ring, or even some fun pearl hair clips are the perfect addition to a casual outfit or for your going out look!

January Edit: Workout & Wellness Faves

As I’ve mentioned before on my Instagram Stories, I’ve been working really hard to keep up with my fitness routine. At first I just wanted to lose the baby weight after Corinna, but working out quickly began to mean a lot more to me. Even if I can only squeeze in 20 minutes a day, I feel so much better. Not just physically, but mentally. I find carving out a little time in my day to devote to healthy habits like working out or journaling gives me clarity and the ability to be calm. I thought I would share some of my favorite fitness and wellness faves that I love and are on my wishlist!

I’m a big fan of Beyond Yoga’s activewear. It’s so beautiful and embraces soft, muted colors that I’m drawn to. This tank and legging combo is so pretty. I feel like it would pair perfectly with this long sleeve tee. I like to layer my activewear so I can have something comfy and cute to wear on my way to a barre or yoga studio. Then I can take the tee off and just wear the tank if I get hot in class! A good hoodie is always helpful too. This dual-toned style is so cute!

For sneakers, I am a big fan of New Balance. I feel like this grey pair would look so cute with the outfit I picked out above. I also get a lot of use out of headbands while I workout to keep the hair off my face. Especially when I was growing out my bangs! A good soft one is easy to throw in the wash with your delicates when it gets sweaty.

I do most of my exercising at home, but I’m hoping to make it to more studios this year since I loved the barre class I tried last year! I love the idea of having a few helpful items in my gym bag like these cleansing wipes for removing makeup pre-workout {a must for keeping skin clear!} and for wiping away sweat after. For those of you who have busy days and need to freshen up at the gym, I feel like this multi-purpose oil would be such a great thing to keep in your bag to moisturize skin and smooth any flyaways. Love that it has really natural ingredients too. A travel sized flat iron would be a must have for those of you who like to workout before work or on your lunch break!

For at home workouts, I love Tone It Up’s line of fitness gear and healthy foods from Target, like this booty band! The prices are so affordable and everything is super cute! I’m also a big fan of their vanilla protein powder, so I’m planning on buying their vanilla collagen creamer to add to my morning coffee. When I’m at home I also like to use wireless headphones so I can easily watch television while on the elliptical machine. I feel like girls who like to hit the gym, this wireless headphone case that clips to your gym bag would help you make sure you never lose your pair!

This is the dress that made me fall in love with the celestial trend! I’ve had it on my wishlist since early November and now see this trend everywhere. It’s such a glam style and would be perfect for holiday parties or for New Year’s Eve right?? I think these sparkling star shoes would be perfect to go with them. Alright, that might be a bit much, but I think it’s okay to get a little festive for holiday parties!

A fun more everyday way to wear this trend would be to pick up a gorgeous pair of earrings or set of necklaces featuring stars or moons. Or bracelets or rings. Seriously, celestial jewelry is everywhere, so take your pick. Of course, you could double up on the trends and choose a celestial inspired hair accessory. Such an easy way to dress up your hair for any event this season.

This accessory was a bit of an indulgence, but I couldn’t resist sharing. How old-Hollywood glam are these sunglasses? I love a good pair of sunglasses, especially to dress up a casual outfit. Another splurgy accessory is this insanely gorgeous clutch. I would make such a lovely holiday gift. And since we are talking all things celestial, it seems fitting to find a luxe pair of star printed pajamas. Sweet dreams!
