Halloween is next week and Augustine is so excited about our costumes! He’s been asking to be Daniel Tiger for months and since everything came in the mail {so happy I didn’t procrastinate!}, I thought we’d dress up early 1. to make sure everything fit, 2. to have fun at Augustine’s request, and 3. to maybe give you a little last-minute inspiration! When trying to think of a family of four Halloween costume, we kept going back to Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood since it’s Augustine’s favorite {and only!} show that he watches. Plus, it’s perfect that the Tiger family has a baby sister! This was an incredibly easy Halloween costume idea because we only needed a few key pieces to make it work: a red zip-up sweatshirt for Augustine, a blue one for Matthew, a yellow dress and headband for Corinna, and a pink Hawaiian shirt for me. How did we do??

The Things I Can’t Wait to Do with Corinna
Can you believe it’s been one whole year since our gender reveal?! I remember being so incredibly surprised to find out we were having a girl. Even though I had first thoughts the baby was a girl, I was really convinced we were having a boy. My first trimester symptoms were the same as with Augustine too! I guess it just goes to show you that your baby’s gender is 50/50 thing!
Now that Corinna is here I feel like I can’t help but daydream about all the fun things we’ll do together as mother and daughter. Of course, there are so many things I’m excited to do with Augustine too, but you know I love the girly girl things. My Augustine will definitely be included but some things as a mother and daughter will be so special, and it will remind me of the sweet times my mom and I had together growing up.
Fall Vineyard Salad Recipe
On our way home from the airport the other day we stopped at Mendocino Farms to grab a quick dinner and I had the best salad there. I always love their food, but this salad really blew me out of the water! So I just had to make a copycat vineyard salad recipe inspired by Mendocino Farms! I hope you love it as much as I do! It would be such a great dish to make and bring to a holiday potluck, or even to serve at Thanksgiving!
