Why I’m Embracing Comfortable Fall Style

Running around with Augustine has totally changed how I dress most days, but now that I am pregnant and it’s getting colder, I want to be as cozy as comfortable as possible! Which is why I am embracing comfortable fall style as often as I can! With Augustine, I was my most pregnant during the summer and I started showing so much later than I did this time around. It was a lot easier to dress my bump because I could wear simple, loose dresses. I am having to get a bit more creative this time around! Which is why I am so glad I’ve discovered a comfortable fall style that I love.

To start, leggings have become a lifesaver now that my belly is getting bigger and bigger {fyi I shared some major pregnancy updates here and here!}. In the fall it’s so easy to wear leggings because you can cover them up a bit with a longer, oversized sweater. Cute and beyond comfy!

I also like to keep my accessories simple with an easy-to-wear pair of ankle boots, a warm scarf, and a neutral bag that can carry all my mom and work essentials. I feel like this outfit formula would be so easy for any of you to recreate {even if you’re not pregnant]! Probably with items you already have in your own closet!

I have to say this velvet outfit is also so comfy too, even though it looks so fancy! I’ve been wearing it for date nights and I am hoping it will still fit in time for holiday parties! I feel like accessories are also a good way to dress up a basic, comfortable fall outfit. I’ve been loving these accessories this fall!
