Even in the fall and winter, I tend to be drawn to romantic style. I saw this gorgeous blouse the other week and while I might have normally picked it up in the ivory color, I felt like the black would be a nice change for me. It still has a feminine look but I think it will work better with an autumn color palette. Tip: wear a nude cami underneath to enhance the detail, or if you want to be more subtle go for black.
I love romantic style because sometimes it doesn’t need to be over the top. You can choose pieces with details like lace and work them into a casual jeans outfit. I added in details, like a burgundy beret and a pair of leopard flats, that I felt would enhance the feminine feel. This was an easy but pretty outfit for a day of errands with Matthew and Augustine!
