January Edit: New Year’s Resolution Helpers

I’m guessing I’m not the only one who planned a few New Year’s Resolutions this month! I know that I need a little help staying on track, so I wanted to share some New Year’s Resolution helpers that have helped me stick to my resolutions in the past!


I think we all deserve a little extra love and self-care! One of my favorite ways to relax is with a nice soak in the tub. The more bubble bath and bath salts the better! How chic are these Goop bath salts? I loved their body scrub, so I have a feeling I’ll love these too. For when I need a little on-the-go relaxation, this essential oil roller ball should help. It would be great to roll on at your desk during a hectic work day or even to keep in your nightstand to use before bed. If you know that prioritizing wellness is a struggle, then try using this wellness tracker to stick to your goals!


I’m pretty sure working out more has made it onto my list every year, but it’s totally a work in progress for me. I know {and have heard from so many readers!} that having a cute workout outfit is way more motivating. This legging and sports bra combo is so chic and will hopefully help me make it to more yoga classes this year. Of course, you need a great water bottle to join you on your workout and this one is so gorgeous I know I’ll always want to reach for it. Anyone else  trying to drink more water this year? I know I am!


Being present while with my loved ones or even during the work day is something I really worked on in 2018. This year I plan to continue down this path by writing more letters {with pretty stationery of course!} to my friends and family to tell them how much I care. I also thought I’d pick up this book called 25 List for Togetherness as I loved the Happiness version so much! And I couldn’t resist this cute sweatshirt with a sweet message on it as an extra reminder of what’s important.


I’ve heard the best things about Marie Kondo’s new Netflix show about tidying and I’m dying to watch it since Matthew and I read the book a few years ago and incorporated many of her tips! It’s so inspiring if you read it! Personally, we love our new dual hamper {you can see more of my favorite purchases from last year here!} and it’s made such a big difference in keeping our laundry sorted. If your desk could use a good spruce, then this pretty letter organizer should do the trick. For those of you with goals to use less technology this year, then consider keeping your phone in another room while you sleep and using this cute, old school alarm clock to wake up. And if you love Marie Kondo, then you’ll also probably love this other book on minimalist home organization ideas!
