February Edit: Romantic Styles

I know February is almost over, but I couldn’t resist picking out a few more romantic styles. Can you tell I am just dying to put on a pretty dress and heels again?? For a more casual look, I love this leopard satin camisole, which can be perfectly paired with this cute velvet bow pony holder. The combo of velvet and satin are so dreamy together! I think a slouchy cardigan over a slinky camisole is such a romantic look. This is my current favorite cardigan {also love this similar one that’s available in more sizes and on sale} this month. It’s on sale right now and super soft and comfortable.

A little bit of lipstick also doesn’t hurt to add to these romantic looks. I have been loving this BECCA ultimate lipstick recently, it lasts up to eight hours and has a lovely silky look. Of course I always add a luxurious perfume before heading out on date night! It’s a must! Here are some of my favorite summer perfumes but I’m thinking I need to do an updated post!

Why not add all the jewelry? To accessorize, check out this adorable three ring set from J.Crew. I’ve been really into dainty, simple jewelry and these rings really can compliment any look. For a less subtle look, I’m loving these art deco inspired earrings and this glam cuff. I love the combo of red and white stones with the gold!

When I saw this dress I got instant Old Hollywood vibes! I seriously need to plan a special date night {check out these awesome unique date ideas!} just so I have an excuse to wear it. I also think it would be a beautiful dress to wear to a wedding!

Of course this list would not be complete without the perfect pumps. Why not go all out and add a leopard accessory?? These heels are perfect for me since the heel isn’t too high and the strap will help me feel secure.

I’ll just be sitting here daydreaming about wearing non-stretch clothes! I loved all these romantic styles, but there are also a lot of great weekend sales I’ll be checking out for everyday clothes!

January Edit: New Year’s Resolution Helpers

I’m guessing I’m not the only one who planned a few New Year’s Resolutions this month! I know that I need a little help staying on track, so I wanted to share some New Year’s Resolution helpers that have helped me stick to my resolutions in the past!

Wellness

I think we all deserve a little extra love and self-care! One of my favorite ways to relax is with a nice soak in the tub. The more bubble bath and bath salts the better! How chic are these Goop bath salts? I loved their body scrub, so I have a feeling I’ll love these too. For when I need a little on-the-go relaxation, this essential oil roller ball should help. It would be great to roll on at your desk during a hectic work day or even to keep in your nightstand to use before bed. If you know that prioritizing wellness is a struggle, then try using this wellness tracker to stick to your goals!

Fitness

I’m pretty sure working out more has made it onto my list every year, but it’s totally a work in progress for me. I know {and have heard from so many readers!} that having a cute workout outfit is way more motivating. This legging and sports bra combo is so chic and will hopefully help me make it to more yoga classes this year. Of course, you need a great water bottle to join you on your workout and this one is so gorgeous I know I’ll always want to reach for it. Anyone else  trying to drink more water this year? I know I am!

Presence

Being present while with my loved ones or even during the work day is something I really worked on in 2018. This year I plan to continue down this path by writing more letters {with pretty stationery of course!} to my friends and family to tell them how much I care. I also thought I’d pick up this book called 25 List for Togetherness as I loved the Happiness version so much! And I couldn’t resist this cute sweatshirt with a sweet message on it as an extra reminder of what’s important.

Home

I’ve heard the best things about Marie Kondo’s new Netflix show about tidying and I’m dying to watch it since Matthew and I read the book a few years ago and incorporated many of her tips! It’s so inspiring if you read it! Personally, we love our new dual hamper {you can see more of my favorite purchases from last year here!} and it’s made such a big difference in keeping our laundry sorted. If your desk could use a good spruce, then this pretty letter organizer should do the trick. For those of you with goals to use less technology this year, then consider keeping your phone in another room while you sleep and using this cute, old school alarm clock to wake up. And if you love Marie Kondo, then you’ll also probably love this other book on minimalist home organization ideas!

November Edit: Jewel Tones & Neutrals

I’m not sure what I love more…cozy sweaters or comfy sweater dresses! I really like this cream sweater from Topshop, it’s a great neutral color that you can wear with almost any other shade. It would pair perfectly with this navy scarf or these burgundy boots!  Don’t jewel tones and neutrals go so well together?!

FYI! Everything included in my November Edit is under $100! Many of the items are under $50! How great is that??

I could not stop thinking about this sweater dress, so I actually ordered it already. I have a feeling the stretchy material will fit over my bump perfectly! I’m still avoiding buying maternity clothes as much as I can! I’ve been wearing this sweater dress a ton lately, but now that it’s getting cooler, I am looking for longer dresses. 

I seriously can’t get enough velvet this season {did you see the gorgeous velvet jumpsuit I wore recently?!}. This velvet top from Madewell comes in six different colors {including emerald and mustard!} but just like the jumpsuit, I am just so drawn to the navy. 

It can be difficult to feel glamorous when bundling up in the cold, but adding some great accessories and bold makeup quickly changes this! I like to spice up my outfits with a chic beret, fun statement earrings, or a cute crossbody bag {see more ideas on how to do this here}. When I want to elevate my makeup routine, I usually go for a bold lip, like this one!

Are there colors you gravitate towards in the fall? Obviously, I am all about the jewel tones and neutrals! It’s kind of nuts that we’ll be transitioning to winter wardrobes soon, what styles do you want to see this winter?
